Guidelines Magazine is one of Chiang Mai’s most established and successful magazines. It was started in 1993 and has been published every month since, featuring articles of travel, historical and cultural interest, along with essential information on travel schedules, local events and festivals. The magazine is also highly regarded as a source of commercial information, including information and advertising from more than 200 services in Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand.
Guidelines Magazine has a monthly print run of 30,000 copies and is distributed throughout the month at more than 100 locations across the city. The magazine is targeted at up-market tourists and covers aspects such as; tours, spas, shopping, handicraft wholesale suppliers, transportation, hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, bars, adventure activities, furniture & home décor, shipping and business services.
Guidelines Magazine is published by SP Publishing Co.,Ltd, a well established company with more than 15 years experience in local publishing, with a staff of 30 people. SP Publishing also publishes a monthly pocket book Chiang Mai Tourist Guide and the broadsheet-sized bilingual trends magazine Compass. The company is also very active in event promotion and marketing campaign activities for leading Thai companies.
